To enter: There are two contest elements: Sing-a-long and Look-a-like.
- For the Sing-a-Long, submit a one or two minute video or audio recording of you or family members singing a favorite traditional lullaby or nursery rhyme. Recording may be from a telephone, VHS, MP3, CD or DVD. Tapes can be sent to to Baby Abuelita, 6619 South Dixie Highway, Suite 139, Miami, FL 33143 or to info@babyabuelita.com.

Images will not be returned. Entrants are encouraged to log on to www.babyabuelita.com before entering to double check the different dolls' attire, hairstyles and features.
Entries will be accepted for families of any and all ages and sizes. Entrants can submit multiple entries.
By entering, each entrant warrants and represents the following with respect to their submission:
- entrant is the sole and exclusive owner of the submission;
- the submission is entrant's own creation and is 100% original and has not been previously exhibited, recorded or transmitted;
- the submission does not contain the trademarks, designs, copyrighted works or otherwise infringe upon any rights of any third parties; and
- any third parties appearing in the submission have given entrant appropriate consent to be filmed and used as permitted herein.
Entry must meet all of the following requirements or they will be disqualified.
- Each entry must include a completed official entry form with each participant's name, address, phone number and parent or legal guardian's name and signature for minors.
- At the judges' discretion, entries including unsuitable content or that are in violation of third party rights (including, but not limited to, copyrights) will be immediately disqualified.
- All entries must be received at Baby Abuelita by midnight EST, September 30, 2008.
Judging: Independent judges will select the winners from all eligible entries received. Entries will be judged on 50% Creativity, 25% Spirit (colorful and playful) and 25% selected relevance to heritage/culture or authentic Baby Abuelitas.
Approximately 10 semi-finalists will be notified by phone and/or e-mail on or about October 5, 2008. If winner is unreachable or does not make direct contact with Baby Abuelita by October 10, 2008 prize will be forfeited in its entirety and another winner may be chosen from all remaining eligible entries. Prize won by a minor, if eligible, will be awarded in the name of the parent or legal guardian.
Contest organizers reserve the right to invite semi-finalists to participate at free community events, where the public or special guest is the final judge.
Prizes:
The grand prize entry in each of the Look-a-like and Sing-a-long categories will receive a camcorder to continue to record fond family memories plus a full assortment of Baby Abuelita products. Approximate retail value for grand prize package is $750.00 each. Second and third place winners in each category will receive an assortment of Scholastic bilingual educational books plus Baby Abuelita prize package worth ($250.00 and $200.00) respectively. All semi-finalists will receive a Baby Abuelita DVD. Approximate retail value of DVD: $20. Note one prize package will be awarded per winning entry. Approximate retail value of all prizes combined: $2600.
No cash substitutions for prizes will be permitted and prizes are non transferable. Federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Limit one prize per person or address. Baby Abuelita reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. Expenses not specifically stated are the sole responsibility of the winner. If winner is unable to travel on dates specified and agreed to, prize will be forfeited and another winner may be chosen. Winners may be asked to attend media interviews and publicity opportunities, in which case reasonable expenses (i.e. round trip airfare and hotel accommodations) will be covered by Baby Abuelita Products, LLC.
Eligibility:
Contest open to legal residents of the 50 United States, ages 1 month and over, except employees and the families of Baby Abuelita and its agencies. Baby Abuelita is not responsible for, and entrants and winners shall release and hold harmless Baby Abuelita and its agencies from and against any claims, injuries, losses or damages of any kind resulting from acceptance, use, misuse, possession, or loss of the prize; or participation in this Contest or any Contest-related activity; or for any printing, production, typographical, human or other error in the printing, offering or announcement of any prize; and for any claims based on publicity rights, defamation or
invasion of privacy and merchandise delivery. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. Subject to all federal, state and local laws.
General: By entering the Contest, entrants accept and agree to these rules and the decision of the judges, which shall be final. Winners and semi-finalists will be required to sign a Winner's Agreement and Release within 5 days of prize notification or prize will be forfeited in its entirety and another winner may be selected from remaining eligible entries. By submitting an entry, a winner agrees to allow use of his or her name, address (city, state), likeness and/or photograph and entry for advertising this or similar promotions (including posting of first name and last initial on the web) without notice or compensation unless prohibited by law. All entries, photographs or reproductions and all rights of ownership and publication of same will become the property of Baby Abuelita and will not be returned. If, in Sponsor's exclusive judgment, this Contest becomes compromised in any way by non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond Sponsor's control which, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness or proper play, or submission of entries, Sponsor reserves the right to modify or withdraw the Contest offer, cancel any method of entry and/or select the prize winners from all eligible entries received prior to the action taken.
