Thousands of products were submitted to the iParenting 2008 Best Products Call and all were put through the only internationally certified product evaluation system in the parenting and awards industry. The iParenting Media Awards program is ISO 9001:2000 certified, which means the highest standards of quality have been adopted and an objective third party, Underwriters Laboratories Inc., also audits the Awards program in order to meet these requirements. These products were evaluated by three outside reviewers consisting of: a group facility such as a licensed childcare facility/school, an expert and a parent. The reviewers completed an extensive survey and wrote feedback about the products. In addition to the outside reviewers, the iParenting Media Awards Executive Committee reviewed all submissions.
Product Quality and Safety: Baby Abuelita products are tested to ensure they meet or exceed all Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International standards. To date, none of the Baby Abuelita products have been affected by any recalls and are tested regularly to ensure the manufacturer's quality workmanship and product safety compliance.
